Horrifying! POCSO accused pastor repeatedly rapes own daughter and impregnates her; NCPCR intervenes

Mumbai, Dec 3: In a very horrifying incident, a case of sexual assault of a minor girl has come to light in Thane, Maharashtra. A father, who is also a POCSO accused, was repeatedly raping her own daughter. The horrifying crime does not stop here. He has also tried to impregnate her.
The crime took place in the region of Mira Bhayandar, Thane. When the daughter had the courage to file a complaint against him, she went to Mira Bhayender Police. However, the police made her sit for the whole night and did not allow to follow any kind of procedures to file a complaint under POCSO Act.
Moreover, the lady officer made her wait the whole night n threatened her to withdraw the complaint.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) intervened when they received such reports. NCPCR chairperson Priyank Kanoongo tweeted, "In Mira Bhayandar, Maharashtra, it has been reported that the victim girl, who came to report sexual abuse against a pastor, was made to sit in the police station overnight and the procedures of POCSO Act were not followed.@NCPCR_ is taking necessary action @Dev_Fadnavis @DGPMaharashtra
Besides, the Bethel Gospel Pentecostal Church at Seawood – whose pastor was arrested for molestation – was demolished, on Friday, in a joint operation by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and CIDCO. This came after Thane District Women and Child Protection visited Bethel Gospel Pentecostal Church, based on a written letter that they received.
During their visit, they found that 45 children between three and 18 years were kept in two small unhygienic rooms. Of the 45 children, 12 were girls and 33 were boys. While enquiring with the children, a 14-year-old girl opened up and told that she was molested several times on the pretext of applying Vicks over her body. On August 12, the pastor – Rajkumar Yesudasan – was arrested and four cases have been registered against him.
