Why once an SRK fan people are rejecting SRK’s Pathaan?

Everywhere we are seeing rejection. No, I am not talking about any political or romantic scenario. I am talking about the upcoming movie Pathaan. SRK has a huge fan following. We 90’s kids are grown up watching his movies and going gaga over his movies like DDLJ and Dil to Pagal hai, and have always been in awe of his characters like Raj and Rahul. Then what has changed in the last few years, that once a hardcore SRK fan, now people are rejecting their hero? Rejecting his films and demanding a boycott?

There could be many reasons I would love to talk about major 3 reasons today :

1. His approach towards his religion and our India: He has always been trying to portray himself as a dedicated Indian, however, his religious aspect always takes over his nationality. We have seen his many interviews where he talked about increasing intolerance and taking sides about a particular (Biased) incident and keeping completely mum about the incidents like Shradhha Walkar and Rubika. The question is till when his religious aspect will take over his nationality? India has made him what he is today, and he has a huge fan following including all the cast, religions, and nationalities. And that’s the reason why people are not only rejecting Shahrukh Khan but they are rejecting all these KHANs including Saif Ali Khan.

 

 

 

 

2. The entire Aryan Khan episode and his viral video: Who can forget the Entire Aryan Khan drug case episode? No matter if Aryan Khan was freed and did not plead guilty in that case, however, the approach that his father questioned his intentions and upbringing. Now people are asking themselves do we want such “HEROS” in our society where they are encouraging their kids to have drugs, and alcohol and asking their daughters to have multiple boyfriends but not at once? And that’s why people are rejecting SRK nowadays.

 

 

 

3. His films are genuine flops and not working: Watch his last 5 movies and you will also feel he is unnecessarily trying to look and feel young and trying to portray which he is not. Acting-wise also his charm has gone down and people who are expecting him to be the same Raj or Rahul from the 90s are getting highly disappointed. On Twitter once his fans are advising him to learn something from Amitabh Bachhan on how to age gracefully.

Besharam Rang's song is one of the reasons that people are rejecting Pathaan's‘ The Movie’ but if we look at the larger picture it is not just about one movie or one song. It is about people genuinely not Like this SRK and his approach.
