The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), along with the Sant fraternity and every indigenous Mata-Panth-Sampradaay, has issued a clarion call against the undermining agenda that threatens the national unity and territorial integrity of Bharat.
Declaring that the VHP will launch a nationwide “Dharm Raksha Abhiyan” up to December 31, 2022, VHP's Central Working President and Senior Advocate Alok Kumar announced recently that the Karyakartas of Vishva Hindu Parishad, will not only awaken the people against religious conversions being done by force, fraud, and allurement but will also free the nation from this pest.
He said that by keeping Swami Shraddhanandji's martyrdom day on 23rd December as the point of reference, VHP shall take forward his “Shuddhi Movement” and speed up the ‘Paraavartan’ (‘Home-Coming’) campaign to bring back those who had gotten estranged from their Mother Society (Hindu society) for any reason.
During the campaign, in addition to Havan-Yagya, Katha-Pravachan, and Shobha Yatras, Seminars, distribution of Divine-Literature, participation, and guidance of revered saints in Pada Yatras and Prabhat Pheris, and also apart from special programs for women, men and children, many competitions and Dharmic awakening programs will be conducted.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on December 21, 2022, the VHP Working President said that so far we have saved 62 lakhs Hindus from religious conversion and brought 9 lahks back to their original fold with respect.
About 20 lakh cow-progeny were saved from being slaughtered and 25 thousand Hindu daughters were saved from getting trapped in the clutches of love jihadists. He said that in the very second year of the establishment of VHP, i.e., in the first World Hindu Conference in 1966, in the presence of more than one lakh delegates from 12 countries, the announcement of ‘Paraavartan’ (‘Home-Coming’) was made and only three years after that in 1969, the declaration of 'Na Hindu Patito Bhavet' (‘All Hindus are siblings, No Hindu is fallen’) by the Jagadgurus infused new energy in the society.
Alok Kumar said that these days a special campaign ‘Sansad Sampark Abhiyan’ is undergoing to meet the Members of Parliament from all over the country by Vishwa Hindu Parishad. During this 12-day campaign, which started on December 12, personal contact is being made with the MPs of both the Houses of Parliament. Under this, the Karyakartas of VHP's Vishesh Sampark Vibhag (Special Contact Cell) is drawing the attention of the MPs to the issues of Population imbalance, liberating Hindu temples from government control and also the creation of separate ministries at the center and states to ensure the sanctity of the Dharmic-pilgrimage sites.
A total of 74 VHP Karyakartas, including 4 women Karyakartas, had joined the campaign in its first phase. In the last 8 days, a total of 286 MPs of all parties, including 225 Lok Sabha and 61 Rajya Sabha MPs, were contacted. We also met some Muslim and Christian MPs. The second phase of the campaign started on December 22, 2022, and by next Friday we will meet 450 to 500 MPs, Alok Kumar said.
VHP's Central Secretary & National Dharm Prasar Pramukh Sudhanshu Patnaik and Vishesh Sampark Pramukh Narpat Singh were also present at this press conference.
