NCP chief Sharad Pawar gets death threat, caller threatens to shoot him

As per the reports, the unknown person called up his house at Silver Oak and threatened to shoot the politician with a pistol. The caller threatened in Hindi.

Mumbai, December 13: National Congress Party supremo, and former chief minister of Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar, received a death threat call on from an unknown person on Tuesday Morning (December 13 ). This call comes just a day after Pawar celebrated his 83rd birthday on Monday (Dec 12).

As per the reports, the unknown person called up his house at Silver Oak and threatened to shoot the politician with a pistol. The caller threatened in Hindi.
 
 

After the threat, Gamdevi police registered a case against the unknown person. Police registered a case under section 294,506(2) of IPC and started further investigation.
 
According to the information given by the police, the person who threatened Sharad Pawar was talking in Hindi. He was saying that he would kill them with a country-made pistol. But the reason for threatening to kill has not been revealed.
 
It should be noted that this is not the first time, earlier as well, the same person had called Pawar and threatened him. He was earlier taken into custody and interrogated, however, he was released. The police are going to arrest him soon.
