White House praises PM Modi says India plays a critical role in G20 Summit

Washington DC, November 19: Saying that India has played an essential role in negotiating the G-20 Summit, the White House praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for saying that today's era must not be of war. Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, made these remarks while briefing the media personnel.

 

 

Responding to the question, ' How was the meeting between President Biden and Prime Minister Modi of India in Bali?', Jean said that the US had a successful summit and, President Biden spoke with the Prime Minister and Indonesian President. She further emphasised India's crucial role in the joint declaration.

 

"India played an essential role in negotiating the summit's declaration. Prime Minister Modi made clear today's era must not be of war," White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

 

 

 

Among other priorities addressed, we have a path forward to addressing current food and energy security challenges while continuing our efforts to build a resilient global economy," she said.

 

For unreserved it should be noted that the G20 summit concluded on 16 November. India takes over the G20 presidency next year, the focus would be on prosperity and peace in the global South. The G20 is one of the largest multilateral platforms, commanding 85% of the world's GDP and two-thirds of its population. It wields significant influence, particularly among developed countries in North America and Europe.
