Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh ) Nov. 16: Reiterating the stand of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat said here on Tuesday that those who treat Bharat as their Motherland are Hindus.

He was addressing the audience gathered at the RSS program that was organized on the PG College Ground here on Tuesday.

Bhagwat said that we forget our differences and confrontations and stand united whenever our country faced any external threat. Those who consider India as their Motherland are Hindu and it is the unique character of Hindu Dharma to understand the underlying unity in the diversity of religions. Our priority should be to the nation's interests than our personal ones, the RSS Chief said.

He said that we must respect and honor the religion of others as we respect our own religion and spare some time for society.

Bhagwat further said that the number of Sangh Swayamsevaks in various parts of the country is increasing in recent times. RSS can't be compared with any other organization but if one wants to know RSS one should join its Shakha. Everybody should come to shakha and spare one hour time to learn the technique of nation-building. This will provide you a golden opportunity to participate in the process of rebuilding the nation, he added.

He asserted that the RSS is not a paramilitary force neither it is a club. We plan our programs and activities in such a way that they lead to the overall development of an individual and make him capable of serving the nation. We don't ask anyone his caste in the RSS, he added.

Union Minister of State and Sarguja MP Renuka Singh, former Home Minister Ramsevak Paiknra, and other leaders were conspicuous by their presence on the occasion.
