California, October 06: In a shocking development, the four Indian-origin people including an 8-month-old baby, who were abducted at gunpoint in California, United State, now have been found dead.
The Merced County sheriff confirmed the news on Thursday. Terming it "horribly senseless," the sheriff said they are finding out the cause of the murder. Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke said the man in custody was convicted in 2005 in a case involving armed robbery and false imprisonment.
For unreserved, the eight-month-old infant, her parents Jasleen Kaur and Jasdeep Singh, and uncle Amandeep Singh were missing since Monday. The couple and the baby were kidnapped at gunpoint from a convenience store they own in Merced County in Northern California.
Earlier in the day on Wednesday, the Merced County Sheriff's Office released a chilling new video showing the moment the family was kidnapped.
Jasdeep and Amandeep Singh came out of the business with their hands zip-tied together. Moments later, the video shows the kidnapper leading Jasleen and her 8-month-old baby, Aroohi, out of the building into a truck.
