From the day Adipurush’s teaser launched trolls started coming in. People are genuinely not liking the look and feel of the movie, and hence so many debates, talks, and conversations going on about this issue. And hence #BanAdipurush is trending for the last 3 days on Twitter, which says, Indian viewers are really not ready to digest this movie.
Here are 4 reasons why #BanAdipurush is trending on Twitter constantly on the third day…!
1. The Look and Feel of Ram and Ravana: The first and foremost thing, Ram and Ravana nowhere look that how we idealize Prabhu Shri Ram and imagine Ravana. Saif Ali Khan actually looks like the head of Al Quida, he is actually looking like “Ravanuddin Khiljee.” And Prabhas is nowhere having the poise, posture, and aura of Prabhu Shri Ram. We have recently seen Ram Charan in RRR looking a perfect “Kodanddhari Ram” and viewers are extremely disappointed with Prabha’s look. So the teaser failed first of all here only. And that’s why #BanAdipurush is trending for the consecutive third day.
2. Look and feel of Hanuman and Vanar Sena: Vanarsena is looking like a creepy copy of some horrible video game. Hanumana is having a beard and not a mustache which is hurting Hindu sentiments and priests are calling it the ‘Muslim version of hanuman’ which is unacceptable. It looks like an insult to our beliefs, Prabhu Shriram, and the entire Ramayana.
3. Mata Seeta's look: Another reason why people are trending #BanAdipurush is the way Kriti Sanon is looking like Mata Seeta. The modern-day look of a lady is nowhere suiting Kriti Sanon. Viewers are hurt by seeing their “Maata Seeta” looking like a Bollywood heroine (which she is, but it shouldn’t reflect in her character) We have grown up watching Deepika Chikalia playing Mata Seeta in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. The innocence, pure beauty, and “Shaleenta” she had are completely missing in Adipurush. Hence #BanAdipurush is trending for the third day.
4. Highly Disappointing VFX: When Om Raaut directed and presented Tanaji the entire nation was very proud of him. But when the same person came up with the Adipurush teaser, that too with a budget of 500 Cr. INR, it is highly highly disappointing. Prabha’s 6 pack abs are done with VFX, the temple is stolen from temple run, Ravana is coming on a huge BAT instead of “Pushpak Viman” and the vanar sena and rakshas sena both are looking like creepy zombies. Tell us how, how any Indian would accept all this in the name of creative liberty? And why should we accept it?
Ramayan is a legacy. Our culture is based on Ramayan and Mahabharat. If any creative person is ready to destroy those feelings and beliefs viewers will react and they will express their anger.
