New Delhi, Oct 18: After AAP Gujarat chief Gopal Italia made derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother, he has been receiving heavy backlash. In the latest development, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupesh Bhagel has condemned the party, stating that the comments made by the AAP leader were in poor taste.

Stating that Italia made casteist remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother who has nothing to do with politics, Bhagel said that besides the BJP, now even the Congress will give a tough competition to the AAP in the Gujarat elections.
Further claiming that the AAP is going to every state to defeat the Congress, Bhagel took a jibe at Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's party stating that the AAP is not Aam Aadmi Party but 'Khas Aadmi Party'.
