Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi gets Y+ security after receiving death threats for meeting RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat
New Delhi, Oct 13: In a major development, the Ministry of Home Affairs has provided "Y+security" AIIO President Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi after he received "Sar Tan Se Juda" threat for terming RSS chief as the "Father of Nation".

New Delhi, Oct 13: In a major development, the Ministry of Home Affairs has provided 'Y+security' AIIO President Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi after he received 'Sar Tan Se Juda' threat for terming RSS chief as the 'Father of Nation'.
While giving the information, IIyasi said," I thank the government of India for y+ category security which has been granted by the Ministry of Home Affairs."
Ilyasi alleged that he started receiving threatening calls after he met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on September 22 and called him the ‘Father of the Nation’.
Iliyasi further said that he had been receiving threats over the phone from England, Dubai, and Kolkata, and following
this, he lodged a case at Tilak Lane police station, and also gave this information to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other senior functionaries of the RSS met Umar Ahmed Ilyasi at a mosque in New Delhi. The meeting was held at Kasturba Gandhi Marg and lasted for more than an hour.
"Ever since Mohan Bhagwat has come to our mosque, I have been getting threatening calls continuously. I received a threatening call from England on 23 September saying that now you will burn in the fire of Hell. You will not be alive," Ilyasi told.
