The famous FM brand Radio Mirchi is promoting a creepy way to stalk Hindu women as the nine-day festival of Navratri has commenced. An ad or a program was being broadcasted by the FM that promotes harassment of Hindu girls participating in the Navratri Garba events.
Radharaman Das, Vice President of ISKCON Kolkata, shared an audio clip broadcasted by Radio Mirchi in which two guys can be heard discussing strategies to stalk women visiting Navratri Garba Pandals. He said, Radio Mirchi, which is owned by Times Group, is giving ideas to Mu$l!m youths for #LoveJihad. In "2 mins love story" Ali's friend asks him to make an app where many Hindu girls coming for Garba would share their contact details, so Ali may be able to find Jaya's home address."
In the audio clip, two friends where one of them is explaining to another youth named Ali that an internet application needs to be created where girls and women who wanted to visit Garba pandals could register their identities and choose where they wanted to go to play dandiya on that particular night.
Following this, they can get all of the data and review the profiles of all the girls who had registered on the app. They would visit the same pandal that the girl whose profile they preferred had chosen to visit to play dandiya.
If such incidents take place, it could have serious consequences wherein girls could be harassed with all their data getting leaked.
On the other hand, there have been reports of Muslim youths entering Navratri Garba Pandals and harassing women.
