"The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has duped the citizens of India for Rs 16.5 cr.. PM Modi and MHA Amit Shah and UP CM Yogi Aadityanath has looted the country", is all that you are reading, listening on social media, television today, right? Well let me take you the land of truth before you yourself be judgemental in the case of #RamMandirScam which in fact is no scam. Go ahead, read!
The issue all of a sudden began Aam Aadmi Party's Sanjay Singh and a former minister in the Samajwadi government, Pawan Pandey on Sunday alleged that the Ram Mandir Land of Rs 2 crore was bought by the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust at an inflated price of Rs 18.5 crores with help from Trust's member Anil Mishra. The so called truth speaking leaders also added some photocopied documents to their theory confusing people on the basis of time, amount and the credibilty overall.
"Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust purchased the land measuring 1.208 hectares and located in Bag Bjaisi village under Sadar tehsil of Ayodhya district for a price of Rs 18.5 crores from the first purchaser, who had bought it minutes earlier on March 18 this year from its original owners for a sum of Rs 2 crores", Singh added. Quoting entries of the registered sale deed of the land, Singh explained that the land was first purchased by Sultan Ansari on March 18 this year from its original owner Kusum Pathak, wife of Harish Kumar Pathak alias Baba Hardas for a sum of Rs 2 crore. Minutes later, the same land was purchased by Trust's general Secretary Rai for a sum of Rs 18.5 crores from Ansari, Singh said again quoting entries of the second sale deed showing the transaction between Ansari and Rai.
Now, here comes the point of confusion which led Singh and Pandey to make major allegations on the Trust. The contract between Pathak and Ansari is prior to the Supreme Court's Ayodhya Verdict and caters to the land price dealings as on or before 2019. The other contract of Rs 18.5 crores between Ansari and Rai is post Supreme Court Ayodhya Verdict and caters to the land price dealings as on 2020-21. "Increase in the land value is a gradual process. The fact that land prices in Ayodhya have spiralled cannot be denied as Ayodhya verdict was the one the whole nation was looking forward to. And the verdict with it has brought a lot of estimated tourism opportunities and development. Hence, many have started buying lands there to be at benefit", says govt official who refuses to be named.
Justifying the same registration dated ie March 18, 2021, Champat Rai in his clearance said that buying and selling of the land is being done on the basis of mutual dialogue and consent. "After taking consent, the consent form was signed. All types of court fees and stamp papers are being purchased online. The purchase of land is being done on the basis of the consent letter, accordingly, the entire value is transferred online to the seller's account," he said further refuting the whole set of allegations and indictaing that both the contract deals have been done through banks, online and hence not in black.
I further want to add a twist to allegations made by Sanjay Singh and Pawan Pandey. This would bring anything but shame to the Aam Aadmi Party who is fueling the propaganda ahead of the UP State Assembly elections. AAP IT cells, '62 AAP Social Media Army' a whatsaap group is busy preparing and sharing toolkits against the Ram Mandir issue. "Please keep tweeting- Misuse of Ram Mandir donations", says Aishwarya, one of the AAP social media soldiers. Is this how Hindus are vilified in this country? Is this even secularism? Well, its stupid to talk about secularim when it comes to social media, especially the Twitter. Anyway!
In one of the interviews earlier, AAP's Sanjay Singh had said that the party would do anything to defeat BJP in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The new entrant in UP politics, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), that probably has become the BJP’s new foe. Not the sleepy elephant or the slow cycle, but the AAP has too little to lose in the state and hence is the loudest. The AAP back in 2020, also had tried to turn the heat up on the alleged ‘Brahmin murders’ in the state. It is a party whose modus operandi in UP is yet not known. This is may be the start of the petty politics AAP is trying to play against the BJP ahead of UP election, further trying to create rift between UP CM and PM Modi and MHA Shah. BJP needs to keep an eye on AAP, though unchallenging!
