VHP Thailand members donate more than 50 oxygen concentrators to India

New Delhi, May 13: In the difficult times of COVID-19 second outbreak, where some people in proximity tend to deny help to India, there are few hands who are rising up to serve the country fight the Indian variant of COVID-19. In a recent update, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Thailand have donated 50 oxygen concentrators to India.

"VHP Thailand members have donated more than 50 oxygen concentrators to India. Thank you for your contribution", the Indian Embassy in Thailand tweeted sharing a photograph of Amb Suchitra with office bearers of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Thailand led by Shri Sushil Saraff.
 
 
Earlier the week, fifteen oxygen concentrators from Thailand had arrived in Delhi as assistance to India in the fight against COVID19. India had welcomed the gift of oxygen concentrators from its ASEAN partner. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi had also thanked the Indian community in Thailand who had generously donated another 15 oxygen concentrators.
 
 
 
Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan o Cha had then conveyed through Foreign Affairs Ministry his desire to offer more assistance to India. India to this had indicated oxygen related requirements of cylinders, concentrators, generators and cryogenic oxygen tanks. Meanwhile Indian corporates, in coordination with India Embassy in Thailand and Home Ministry, were sourcing cryogenic tanks from Thailand.
