Sitapur, May 13: COVID-19 pandemic has created a havoc in the society. In such difficult times many of the social organisations have come forward to help the society in need. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) being one of those has initiated 12 activies of help for the society amidst the serious second wave.
In an update to the Service to Society, Anandi Devi Vidya Mandir school in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur area have been converted into a COVID isolation centre by Sevabharati members of RSS. All the facilites, right from food, meditation to sleed will be taken care of in this isolation centre as reported. In a press conference last week, RSS' Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar ji had said that Sangh workers together have set up isolation camps, COVID care centres, have initiated ambulances services, food, counselling and more.
"COVID-19 situation is getting worse. We all will win over this pandemic only if we all as a society come together. The RSS as usual have started providing various kinds of services for the COVID affected patients and their family members. Other than the isolation camps, COVID care centres, food, this time the RSS volunteers have issued some helpline numbers where patients can get details about bed availability, ambulances, ventilators, etc. If any patient needs to consult the doctor, RSS has made all provisions", he said.
Seva Bharati is inspired from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and is the official community service umbrella of allied organisations. The Akhil Bharatiya Saha Seva Pramukh of the RSS guides the organisation and is also represented in the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision making body of the Sangh Parivar. While all of the 'liberals' and leftists are resting in their houses, RSS is on ground to coordinate with the government. The selfless work of RSS volunteers during natural disaster is unparalleled and inspiring.
