Mumbai, March 12: Taking the investigation more further, Mumbai police on Thursday made some shocking revelation regarding the security scare at Mukesh Ambani's case. Mumbai police said that the Telegram account, through which terrorist organisation Jaish-ul-Hind claimed the responsibility for placing the explosive-laden car outside Ambani's residence, was created in the Tihar area of Delhi's Janakpuri.
According to police, with the help of a private cyber agency police track the location of the mobile phone on which the Telegram channel was created. During the investigation, the location of the phone was traced near Tihar jail in Delhi.
According to police sources, the Telegram channel was created on February 26 and the message claiming responsibility for placing the vehicle outside Ambani's residence was posted on the Telegram messaging app late in the night on February 27.
With that shocking revelation, Delhi Police's Special Cell is now going to approach the Tihar Jail administration and is likely to question some suspects.
In the message, the orgnisation had also demanded payment in cryptocurrency and mentioned a link to deposit the same.
On February 25, Mahindra Scorpio car with gelatin sticks was found parked near "Antilia", the multi-story residence of Ambani, in south Mumbai. Following which the message claiming responsibility for placing the vehicle outside Ambani's residence was posted on the Telegram messaging app late in the night on February 27.
It should be noted that National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the case related to the recovery of the explosives-laden vehicle.
