Following its 'OLD HABITS' when Pakistan's human rights minister tried to propagate its agenda against India at UNHRC, India, in its “right of reply” hit out Islamabad saying Pakistan is a country with “one of the world’s worst human rights records”.

Showing to mirror Pakistan, Seema Pujani, India's second secretary in the permanent mission to the UN, taunts Pakistan to take "credible and irreversible steps" to end state-sponsored terrorism and dismantle the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.

Retiring the fact that both the UT's Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are an integral and inalienable part of India, India pointed out the persecution of the minorities in Pakistan while highlighting the frequent attacks on places of worship of minority communities. Indian representative further taunts Pakistan saying, "Pakistan would do well to put its own house in order before venturing to point a finger at India."

“The violence, institutionalised discrimination, and persecution faced by Pakistan’s minorities, including Christians, Sikhs, and Hindus, has continued unabated,” Pujani said. “There have been frequent attacks on the places of worship of minority communities, a grave violation of their right to freedom of religion and belief.”

Pujani further pointed out that how Pakistan has been the “home and patron to the largest number of internationally proscribed terrorist entities and individuals. "As many as 126 individuals and 24 entities sanctioned by the UN Security Council are associated with the country," she said.

She also highlighted that how Pakistan-sponsored terrorism has become treat not only to India but to other countries in the region and beyond. "An al-Qaeda terrorist and murderer of American journalist Daniel Pearl was acquitted by the Pakistan Supreme Court. India at UNHRC called the acquittal 'a clear example of Pakistani establishment's nexus with terror entities'", she asserted.
