Justice for 'Unnao ki Beti'! UP govt files FIR against masked murderers upon complaint of family

Unnao, February 19: If heaven and hell both existed on Earth then Unnao might seemingly be the hell for women, particularly the most vulnerable of them. Two young deceased girl teengers on Friday were entombed in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district after they lost their lives to a brazen poisonous attack.

 The post morterm report as revealed by the concerned police officials on Thursday said that the girls had consumed 80-100 grams of food that possibly was contaminated. The result after 6 hours was the girls unconcious, later deceased in the farm. "The girls had actually gone to the farms to get fodder for the cows. Now they'll never return", hurt mother cried demanding justice for her daughters.

"I want justice for my daughters. What wrong did they do? What wrong did we do? The culprit must be punished and punished hard for whatever hhas happened. This is such a big matter. Two girls die of poison and nobody even cares?", disturbed father further stated.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath condemned the incident and prayed for the innocent souls to rest in peace. He also ordered file an FIR against unknown persons on charges of murder and attempt to hide evidence, upon the complaint of the family.

According to the FIR, the scarves were tied around their necks and all the three girls had froth coming out of their mouths. They were taken to the CHC Asoha government hospital where two girls were declared dead on arrival while the third girl was in a critical condition and was given preliminary treatment. She was then referred to Unnao district hospital. The third victim, who is fighting for her life, has been shifted to Kanpur Regency Hospital where she has been kept on ventilator.
