New Delhi, December 8: Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez was seen arriving at the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) Delhi office on Wednesday. The actress was summoned by the investigating agency in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Fernandez, recently, was briefly detained at the Mumbai Airport by the immigration authorities because of the lookout circular issued by Enforcement Directorate (ED) against her in a money laundering case. She was later allowed to go home.
According to the ED probe, Chandrasekar transferred ‘proceeds of crime’ to Fernandez sand her siblings. Back in August, Jacqueline had denied any financial links with Chandrasekar. Amidst this legal case, many pictures of Fernandez and Chandrasekar had surfaced on the internet. In the past, Jacqueline was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate on multiple occasions.
