Chennai, December 02: In a very shocking incident, a leftist journalist working in the News Minute, Bala G, Reddy, celebrated the death of legendary Sirivennela garu's death and passed derogatory comments just because he was a Brahmin and had close ties with RSS.

On Tuesday, award-winning Telugu lyricist and poet Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry passed away after battling lung cancer-related complications. Following his death, the reporter took to the social media site and dehumanise the death of the Padma Shri awardee renowned lyricist.
 
On his Twitter wall, he wrote, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry was an extremist with ties to the RSS. The lyricist’s “views were like any average Brahmin Sanghi,” he remarked. After the outrage the so-called leftist journalist deleted the tweet form his wall, however, the screenshot of the tweet has gone viral on social media sites.
  
While sharing the screenshot, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy Tweeted, “This is the mental state of leftists of India. This man isn’t a common man but an alleged journalist working with @thenewsminute, celebrating the death of legendary Sirivennela guru's death and passing derogatory comments just because he was a Brahmin & close to RSS.
