New Delhi. Dec 18: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will be launching a countrywide campaign from December 20, 2021 against the unlawful conversions by a section of Christian missionaries and Muslim clerics and to expose their wide-spread and aggressive conspiracies. The campaign, “Dharma Raksha Abhiyan” shall be conducted from December 20 to 31, 2021.

Alok Kumar, Sr. Advocate and Central Working President of VHP Sunday called upon the Central and State Governments to make a stringent law to check the unlawful conversion by Jihadi and Christian Missionaries. The time has now come to impose severe penalties upon the persons involved in religious conversions obtained by allurement, fear or deceit.

 

Addressing a press conference Alok Kumar said that Swami Sharadhananda who led the Shuddhi movement to bring back the converted was martyred on 23 December. The VHP had been celebrating 23rd December every year as the “Dharm Raksha Diwas”.

However, in view of the horrific nature of illegal conversion conspiracies, the campaign has been given a wider canvas this year. Under this campaign, public awareness will be enhanced through distribution of literature, public meetings, social media, etc., to expose the conspiracies of the persons engaged in conversion, so that the Hindu society sees through their anti-Hindu and anti-national acts and awakens to stop this, the VHP leader said.

 

Alok Kumar said that at the time of the horrific disaster of Corona pandemic, when the entire country and the world was battling the fatal Covid-19 infections and most of the socio-religious organizations in Bharat were engaged in serving the affected victims, some maulvis/clerics and padris/pastors were doggedly and aggressively exploiting the tragic and calamitous times to convert unsuspecting and vulnerable people.

All these conspiracies started coming to the fore no sooner than the Corona began calming down. The Church is openly practicing illegal conversions through fraudulent conspiracies such as ‘Changai Sabha’ (‘healing meetings’). Innocent forest dwellers, villagers and residents of backward settlements are being specifically targeted. The missionaries themselves have admitted that the number of churches established during the Corona period far outnumber those made during the last 25 years.

 

Alok Kumar also said that news of well-planned conspiracies to torture and kill love-jihad affected Hindu women is coming daily from one or the other part of the country. Mounting radical Islamic aggression is clearly evident. Spitting on food items or such other satanic ways as noted in public domain speak volumes about their hate towards Hindus. The Hindu society, which has suffered the pain of partition of Bharat, massacre of crores of persons, terrorism and riots – due to illegal conversions – can no longer accept this new scenario under any circumstances.

The Central Working President of VHP said that everyone is aware of the fact that some facilities have been provided in the Constitution for the development of Scheduled Castes. They are not available to the Scheduled Castes who convert to another religion. However, for the Scheduled Tribes the Constitutional benefits remain available to the converted amongst them also and the Christian missionaries take advantage of this constitutional slip.

 

It is the result of the unwavering faith of the tribes in their indigenous credo that despite the continuous conspiracy of thousands of missionaries and their spending billions of dollars for a long time, they have been able to convert only 18% of such tribes; whereas, as a result of their conspiracies, in the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, etc., almost 100 percent of the aboriginals were either converted or eliminated. In recent times, new conspiracies have been hatched by the church to divide and conduct illegal conversions among the tribes of Bharat.

The deceiving satanic tactics include calling a church a ‘Dhaam’ or ‘Mandir’, wearing saffron robes, presenting Jesus as Krishna, etc. Their conspiracies to defame Hindu society and the country by stage-managing and falsely propagating attacks on them have been exposed many times.

He said that having fed up with such unacceptable agenda, ways and ecosystem, many enlightened persons from the Muslim and Christian worlds are leaving their religions and accepting Sanatana Dharma (Eternal Law). Conversion in Bharat has happened mainly by force, fraud or allurement.

 

Therefore, Hindu great men have always tried to stop conversions and bring back the converted brethren to their indigenous credo. Continuing efforts for Paraavartan (home-coming) started by Deval Rishi, Swami Vidyaranya, Ramanujacharya, Ramananda, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Swami Dayanand, Swami Shraddhanand, etc., are still on.

The VHP has decided to give further impetus to these efforts. The VHP calls upon the Hindu society to understand and appreciate the importance of their glorious original traditions and accordingly construct their personal and family life. We should welcome those with open hearts who return home and establish Roti Beti relationship with them, he said.

 

In view of this the Central and State Governments cannot remain aloof. Therefore, VHP requests that:

1. The states which do not have a strong law to stop illegal conversions and love-jihad, should make it immediately keeping in mind the interests of the country and the national society.

2. In view of the pan-Bharat activities of illegal conversions and their links with terrorist outfits, the Central Government should enact a strong law to check these conspiracies at the earliest.

3. The necessary constitutional amendment should also be made at the earliest to plug the special benefits meant for the Scheduled Tribes brethren from flowing to the persons who abandon their indigenous faith and convert to another religion.

4. VHP urges upon all the Sant-Mahatma-Dharmacharyas and socio-cultural leaders to create wide public awareness in the society against these conspiratorial forces stop illegal conversions and bring back the converted people to with their roots.
