Hindus should become capable to do good to humanity: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was addressing a gathering after releasing a book “Vibhajankalin Bharat ke Saksahi” (Witnesses of India’s Partition) written by Krishnandan Sagar at Noida.

Noida, Nov 26: "Hindus have a destiny to do good to the humanity and for accomplishing this mission they should acquire the requisite capability," said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Dr. Mohan Bhagwat here. He was addressing a gathering after releasing a book “Vibhajankalin Bharat ke Saksahi” (Witnesses of India’s Partition) written by Krishnandan Sagar at Noida.

"The trauma and turbulences India witnessed during the partition days were hard to ignore and forget", he said. He added that we must read and understand our history and learn to accept the truth. The Hindu society should become capable to do good the humanity
 
Further, he added that the sufferings of partition witnessed by the Hindu society at the time of partition should not be forgotten and it will only be erased when the partition of India is undone. "The ideology and destiny of India is to take everyone along. It is not an ideology that considers itself right and others wrong, he said adding that the Islamic or British invaders considered their ideologies as the only right and others wrong. Such thinking was the main cause of the conflict in the past," he said.

"These invaders promoted disintegration among the Hindus and Muslims after the 1857 War of Independence," adding that "This is the India of 2021, not of 1947. Once Partition had happened, it will not happen again".
 
During the book releasing ceremony author Krishnand Sagar said that the inspiration to write this book came from great personalities who protected the country from religious fanatics before and just after independence. "I interviewed many great personalities and have written chapters accordingly," he said.

Justice Shambhu Nath Shrivastava presided over the function and expressed his thoughts on partition of India and massacre of Hindus then. He said Hindus have become minority in many areas of UP and Bihar. Another special guest of the book launch ceremony Kumar Ratnam, Secretary of India Council Historical Research (ICHR) said that this book will be useful in understanding Indian history.
