Bhopal, November 22: Reviving the long-lost beauty of India, honoring the freedom fighters and warriors who sacrificed their life for mother India, Madhya Pradesh is all set to rename the Patalpani railway station. After Habibganj, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that the name of Patalpani railway station in Indore will be changed to Tantya Mama railway station.
State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted, “Tribal pride, Mama Tantya Bhil’s sacrifice day is on 4th December. Indore Bus Stand and Patalpani Railway Station to be named after Tantya Mama”
The announcement was made during the concluding ceremony of Tribal Pride Week. CM Shivraj Chouhan said, “Queen Kamalapati’s kingdom was won by deceit by Dost Mohammad Khan. He gave up his life by taking water samadhi but did not accept the submission. In her name, the Prime Minister built Habibganj railway station. Having given the name Rani Kamalapati, respect has been given to the tribal society.”
Adding further, Shivraj Singh said that he feels blessed, and is saluting you in the Raj Gondwana of 52 strongholds. The kings of our Gondwana served the people and hundreds of years ago, by doing excellent work in water management, they showed the way to the world. Targeting the Congress, he said that Congress did not respect tribal heroes, taught the wrong history. Heroes like Lord Birsa Munda, Tantya Mama, Shankar Shah, Raghunath Shah, Rani Laxmibai were ignored. We will honor their pride and contribution.
