Srinagar, October 25: Hailed as ‘Chanakya’ of Bharatiya Janata Party, a strong pillar and pioneer of Indian government Home Minister Amit Shah is well known for his qualities of a great leader. Following footsteps with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah has also created his own self-image of having a great heart among the people. A very close example of the same was seen when he shared his number with a man in Jammu and said ‘Call me anytime you need.’ A viral video of the same has gone viral on social media.
Amit Shah, who is on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, visited the Makwal border in Jammu and interacted with the locals in the village. In the viral video, Amit Shah is seen sitting on a bench with the local man and J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The Home Minister is seen exchanging numbers with the man and told him that he can contact him whenever he needs.
The home minister is in J&K this month as part of the government's mega outreach program under which 70 union ministers are visiting the Union Territory. This is Shah’s first visit to J&K after the Centre revoked the erstwhile state's special status and bifurcated it into two union territories on August 5, 2019.
During his trip, Shah was scheduled to visit several remote areas of the Kashmir Valley and the Jammu region and take stock of the development initiatives.
