Mumbai, October 16: Actress Sherlyn Chopra filed a complaint against businessman Raj Kundra and his wife Shilpa Shetty for allegedly committing fraud against her and mental harassment. Chopra has also accused Kundra of sexual harassment, cheating and criminal intimidation.
The couple's lawyers said in a statement, “The due process of law must be followed for the alleged statement that Miss Chopra wants to make. Calling for a press conference to do this reflects a strong intention to commit an offence of defamation. Anything spoken by Miss Chopra in the public domain shall be held against her in the court of Law. She shall be liable for civil and criminal proceedings before competent courts.”
Chopra said, “I've filed a complaint to register FIR against Raj Kundra for sexual harassment, cheating & criminal intimidation.”
The actress called media for a press conference. She claimed she had some shocking facts to reveal against Kundra and Shetty. Calling the media conference, Kundra and Shetty had warned Chopra of defamation suit and criminal proceedings if she did make any alleged statements against them.

On September 21, Kundra walked out of Mumbai's Arthur Road jail, one day after a magistrate court granted bail to him in a pornographic films case in which he was arrested 2 months ago.
The businessman was lodged in jail in central Mumbai under judicial custody. Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police's crime branch after being booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
