Mumbai, September 21: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will be summoning two well-known Bollywood actresses - Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan under Section 67 of the NDPS Act in connection with the Bollywood & drug case linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Apart from them, NCB will also summon Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta in the coming days. NCB has found direct links of Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Simmone Khambatta in the digital evidence seized during the interrogation of Rhea Chakraborty.
Sara's name reportedly came up during the questioning of actor Rhea Chakraborty who continues to remain in judicial custody till September 22 and is lodged at the Byculla jail. While NCB has found no direct link of Shraddha to the nexus of the drug, the agency will interrogate the actress. She had worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in the Chhichhore in 2019.
Rhea Chakraborty was questioned for three days before her arrest on charges of arranging drugs for Sushant Rajput. Rhea, She was arrested on September 8, 2020, by NCB. Apart from Rhea, her brother, Showik Chakraborty, Sushant's house manager, Samuel Miranda, his staff, Dipesh Sawant, and drug peddlers, Zaid Vilatra and Basit Parihar are among the ten people arrested by the NCB in the case.
Meanwhile, the Sushant Singh Rajput's former talent manager Jaya Saha and manager Shruti Modi were summoned by the NCB in connection with the case. The duo is currently at the NCB's Office in Mumbai's Ballad Pier.
Sushant was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Apart from NCB other 2 agencies the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) are also separately probing Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. On other hand, the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) forensic medical board will hold a meeting CBI to discuss the findings of the probe done by the agency.
