Akshay Kumar shares a glimpse of his adventure on 'Into The Wild With Bear Grylls'

Mumbai, August 31: It is time to get into adventure mode as the first look of Akshay Kumar and Bear Grylls venturing into the wild has been released. The teaser shows what happens when real Khatron Ka Khiladi Akshay Kumar has come to face to face with the real Khatron Ka Khiladi to give you a crazy adrenalin rush.

The short video begins with Bear introducing Akshay as the ‘legend’ famed for his action films. “I am a reel hero, he is a real hero,” the actor then says. Bear and Akshay cross a river full of ferocious crocodiles on a rope and indulge in military-type rope climbing. The duo was seen taking different challenges in the wild which will leave you amazed. It also shows how Grylls surprised him with a unique tea.
 
Sharing the video on his Twitter account, the actor wrote, “I visualized stiff challenges prior to #IntoTheWildWithBearGrylls but @bearGrylls completely surprised me with the elephant poop tea 💩 What a day 🐊😂 @DiscoveryIn @DiscoveryPlusIn”
 
 
This episode is shot in Karnataka’s Bandipur National Park in January. The special episode of Akshay Kumar's 'Into The Wild' with Bear Grylls will be premiere on Discovery+ on September 11 and air on Discovery Channel on September 14. It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, and English.
 
Akshay Kumar is known as the Khiladi Kumar. He is a Taekwondo expert and often performs his stunts in films instead of opting for body doubles. In 2008, Akshay Kumar hosted a stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi with celeb contestants.
 
The episode will also raise awareness about a cause close to Akshay Kumar’s heart — ‘Bharat Ke Veer’, which is a fund-raising initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Last week, Discovery Channel had unveiled the motion poster and announced the release date for the upcoming special episode on the social media platform.
 
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South superstar Rajinikanth were also seen taking up the adventures in the wild with the popular host. The show is about prominent stars pushing themselves to the limits to survive. Grylls takes the stars on a 48-hour journey where the duo face inhospitable conditions.
