Bhopal, Aug 27: With a view to providing education to students during the Coronavirus pandemic, the RSS volunteers have launched Bal Gokulam Kendras in Madhya Bharat (part of Madhya Pradesh) region at the advice of RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat.

The Bal Gokulam Kendras have been launched in every district of the region, a release said adding that the swayamsevaks are visiting houses to teach the students so that their studies do not suffer during the pandemic.

The RSS swayamsevkas have set up 516 Bal Gokulam Kendras to make up with the loss of the academic syllabus of the students. Many workers of RSS and RSS-inspired organizations have volunteered in this unique venture and offering their services to teach the students by visiting their homes. Besides, the syllabus, the students are imparted training in moral education and sanskaras.

The COVID-19 has mostly affected the education of the students as the schools and coaching centers are closed for an indefinite period all over the country. To overcome this situation the RSS has come forward and set up Bal Gokulam Kendras in the region.

Sarsanghchalak Dr. Bhagwat during his recent visit to the region has urged the swayamsevakas to launch such centers to provide education to the students during the pandemic. Responding to his appeal, the RSS started such kendras in Vidisha, Guna, Shivpuri, Muraina, Rajgarh, Narmadapur, Bhopal, Gwalior and other districts.

According to the latest information, there are 516 Bal Gokulam Kendras being run in 31 districts covering 264 places. The plan is to open such kendras in remote and far-flung areas so that the students there also get a proper education.
