Mental health is a integral part of a healthy, balanced life. It is your behavioural and emotional well-being. This is equally important as your physical health. It is all about our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It determines how we think, feel, and act. It also determines how we handle stress, how we behave with others, make different choices and lead our lives.
 
Mental health is very important at each and every stage of life, from your childhood to adulthood. It determines our psychological, emotional and social well-being. It impacts how we feel, out thoughts and the way we behave every day. Disturbed mental health also effects to our decision making process, how we cope with stress and anxiety. And our relationships with others in our lives.

It it also important because if you experience mental health problems, your thinking, mood, and behavior could be affected and the beautiful life you have got wouldn’t be able to do justice to it and live with beauty and peace which each and every human being deserves. Mental health can affect daily living, relationships, physical health and the total lifestyle. it’s a vital part of your life and impacts your thoughts, behaviours and emotions. Being healthy emotionally helps you to be more productive and promote effectiveness in activities like work. It plays an important part in the health of your relationships, and allows you to adapt the change too.
 
Mentally balanced/ balanced mental health can preserve a person’s ability to enjoy life. It creates a balance between life activities, responsibilities, and you certainly achieve psychological resilience. And live a life without stress and depression. The WHO stress that mental health is “more than just the absence of mental disorders or disabilities.” Peak mental health is about not only avoiding active conditions but also looking after on going wellness and happiness.
 
They also emphasize that preserving and restoring mental health is crucial on an individual basis, as well as throughout different communities and societies the world over. In the United States, the National Alliance on Mental Illness estimate that almost 1 in 5 adults experience mental health problems each year.
 
A report by the World Health Organisation (WHO) revealed that 7.5 per cent of the Indian population suffers from some form of mental disorder. Mental illnesses constitute one-sixth of all health-related disorders and India accounted for nearly 15% of the global mental, neurological and substance abuse disorder burden. How we get mental health problems? Many factors contribute to mental health problems, but the most important one is our lifestyle and the less knowledge about the life. And here yoga comes.
