New Delhi, Dec 6: In view of the on-going movement of farmers in protest of the three farm laws enacted by the Narendra Modi government, senior RSS member, social thinker and patron of various social organizations Indresh Kumar appealed to the farmers to remain vigilant against the anti-national and corrupt elements that have sneaked into the movement to spoil the agitation.
In a message to farmers agitating on the Delhi border since last 11 days, Indresh Kumar warned them saying that some corrupt elements have entered into their agitation and shouting objectionable slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party besides threatening to break the country.
Farmers are food givers (‘annadatas’) of the country and they love the land. The entire nation is obliged to them but some Khalistani, Pakistani supporters, members of the ‘tukde-tukde gang’ and ultra Leftists are trying to spoil this agitation. The farmers will have to be vigilant to save this movement going astray due to presence of these elements, Indresh Kumar warned.
The RSS leader said that the Government of India has held lengthy rounds of talks with the farmers with good intention of finding a lasting solution to this vexed issue and have agreed to consider the farmers’ major demand of giving assurance about the continuance of MSP in writing and also considering positively about their other demands, he added.
Expressing confidence he said that the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi will find out a lasting solution without any injustice to farmers but at the same time the farmers should take care to keep their movement on the right track and save it from going astray, he added.
These Khalistani, Pakistani,’ tukde-tukde’ gang, ultra-Leftists and other anti-national elements have nothing to do with the just demands of the farmers. They only want to further their political vested interests and weaken the nation, Indresh Kumar said assuring the farmers that entire country was with them on their just issues and expects from them to remain vigilant against these anti-national elements.
