PM Modi and UK FS Raab talk about Post- Brexit ties

New Delhi, Dec 16: PM Modi met UK foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to discuss the India - UK partnership in the Post- Covid and Post- Brexit world.
According to PM Modi, the discussions with British Foreign Secretary were 'excellent' and also expressed that he is looking forward to have PM Boris Johnson attend the Republic Day program in 2021 as the chief guest.
FS Dominic Raab also met Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal and Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar where he shared that UK will be working closely with India in order to tackle the challenges put forth due to climate change.

He said that India and UK are committed to build a stronger defence partnership between the two countries which would help to cope up with mutual concerns like that of terrorism and maritime security.
