Srinagar, Oct 30: Three BJP workers were shot dead by terrorists in YK Pora area of Kulgam district, in the evening of Oct 29. The deceased have been identified as Fida Hussain Itoo, the District General Secretary of Kulgam Yuva Morcha and Umar Hajjam, who were both residents of YK Pora, Qazigund. The third one is identified as Umar Rashid Beigh of Sophat Devsar.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the killing of three young BJP Karyakartas Fida Hussain Itoo, Umer Rashid Beigh and Umer Hanan in Jammu and Kashmir. He referred the three as bright youngsters who were doing excellent work in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has strongly condemned the killings and has expressed his grief by saying that the perpetrators of violence are the enemies of humanity & such cowardly acts can never be justified. He said that law shall run its course and the guilty will definitely be dealt with severely. Sinha assured all the possible help from the government to the deprived families and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family members.
