Indresh Kumar interacts with Christian leaders, calls for communal harmony

Agra, Sept 28: Indresh Kumar, senior RSS leader, social thinker and patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) and other social organizations like Bharat-Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM), Himalaya Parivar, Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) etc. held a detail and fruitful interaction with the leaders of Christian community here on Friday.

Indresh Kumar was in this city of Taj to participate in the Himalaya and Hind Mahasagar Rashtra Samooh nations’ conference. He was talking to Christian leaders on the sidelines of this conference. Delegates from various nations are expected to participate in this conference.

Christian leaders from Catholic Church, Methodist Church, The Church of North India, Pentecostal Church and Independent Churches participated in this interaction held at Hotel Samovar in Agra.

 

Indresh Kumar in his address appealed to the Christian community leaders to strive for establishing communal harmony and respect for all religions. He said that comprehensive and inclusive approach would foster the harmony and strengthen fraternity and usher in lasting and durable peace.

Prominent among those who participated in the dialogue included Father Moon Lazarus, Director of Ecumenical Movement and Convener of Interfaith dialogue. Father Lazarus is also the spokesperson of the Catholic Archdiocese of Agra.
