A rare historic 'Howdy, Modi' moment! Two largest democracies commit to fight radical Islamic Terrorism reflecting India-US synergy

Houston, September 22: Holding the breaths beyond seas to greet PM Narendra Modi, the Indians in the United States of America cheered aloud for the 'Howdy, Modi' event in Houston's NRG stadium on Sunday. While PM Modi was on the dias with the US President Donald Trump, India also at large sticked around the available electronic devices to witness the event live.
 
Backing Donald Trump for his second term as US President, PM Modi said that it was 'Abki baar Trump sarkar' in the United States. "Trump already made the American economy strong again. He has achieved much for the US and for the world. We in India have connected well to him", PM Modi added while addressing over 50,000 Indian Americans at 'Howdy, Modi'.
 
PM Modi greeted Trump further saying, "He was a household name even before he went to hold the highest seat in he US. His name is familiar to every person on the planet. His name comes up almost every conversation in the world on global politics", PM added.
 
He further said that this was the only day that people at large could hear the heartbeat of the two largest democracies. "You can feel the strength and human bonds of two great nations", he affirmed as he talked about the friendly relations between US and India. "Trump had once introduced me to his family. Today, I introduce him to my family," Modi said while refering to the billions of Indians there.
Meanwhile US President Donald Trump also lauded PM Narendra Modi wor the impeccable national job he has undertaken. "PM Modi is doing truly exceptional job for India", he said in Houston as he wished him for his success in the Lok Sabha elections. "600 million Indian voted overwhelmingly for PM Modi and his party", he extolled.
 
"As a result of PM Modi's pro growth policies, India has lifted nearly 300 million out of poverty, and that is an incredible number," he said further lauding PM Modi for his welfare schemes in the short span of time. "Our people are progressing like never before," he affirmed.
 
Referring to the universal problem of terrorism Donald Trump said that the border security was vital to America as well as India. "We are committed to protect innocent civilians from the threat of radical Islamic terrorism", he said as he talked about America's defence deals with India. 
 
Raising the hands over the bilateral relations, President Trump said, "Indo-US relations are stronger than never before. Want to thank Indian-Americans. Both are pioneering in medicine, finding new business and providing jobs to thousands", he said amid crowd of nearly 50,000 Indian-Americans. "USA is working to expand exports to India", Trump added.
Modi was greeted Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and top US lawmakers as he arrived on stage amid cheers. Earlier, various groups participated in cultural programmes and showcased different dance styles of India.
