Big Administrative Reshuffle! Andhra CM Transfers 49 IAS and Six IPS Officers

Amaravati, June 5: Newly Elected Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has come up with a big administrative reshuffle. He ordered the transfer of 49 IAS officers and six IPS officers who enjoyed key posts during the five-year tenure of Chandrababu Naidu.


 


The officers including Special Chief Secretory Satish Chandra has been left out without any posting for the time being. Former Irrigation Secretory Adityanath Das has been brought back to the Water Resources Department as Special Chief Secretory. K. S. Jawahar Reddy has been made Principle Secretory of Health. Two other officers Rajat Bhargava and M. T. Krishna Babu have also been given key postings as head of Industries and Infrastructure and Roads and Buildings respectively. IPS officer K. R. M. Kishor Kumar has been made the new Principle Secretory of Home Department.
 
P Sitharama, Anjaneyulu another IPS officer who returned to the state from Central deputation, has been posted as Transport Commissioner. Additional DGP-rank officer K. V. Rajendranath Reddy has been posted as Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement Department. Damodar Sawang, has been posted as Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Road Safety Authority. Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that completion of irrigation projects, particularly the Polavaram multipurpose project, in a time-bound manner would be one of his top priorities.
