Muslims urged to follow Rasool and vote for strong, stable government
Lucknow/Jaipur, Apr. 30: In continuation of his ‘Voter awareness programs’ Indresh Kumar, senior RSS functionary and Patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), urged the Muslims to follow the Prophet and to vote for the stable and strong government.
He was addressing the “Voter Awareness Mela” at Capital Center here on Sunday. The Program was attended by MRM National Conveners Islam Abbas and Raza Rizvi, National Convener of MRM Women’s wing Reshma Hussain, Organizing co-convener Tushar Kant, Dr Harmesh Chauhan and others.
Before addressing the audience Indresh Kumar administered a oath to the Muslim audience most of whom were women, to vote for healthy democracy and to elect a stable and strong government at the center.
He appealed to the Muslims to follow the path of the Rasool and exercise their franchise. He also urged them not to get influenced by false propaganda. Listing the various measures, the Modi government had taken for the benefit of the Muslims, Indresh Kumar said that these schemes have benefitted the Muslims more than the earlier government schemes had.
He said that the Modi government had increased the quota for Haj pilgrims from 1.25 lakh to 2 lakh. When the Saudi Prince Salman visited India Prime Minister Modi requested him to release 800-odd Indians languishing in their prisons and the Saudi Prince immediately conceded to PM’s request. By evening all of them were released from the Saudi Prisons. Three amongst them were residents of Lucknow, he added.
MRM National Convener Islam Abbas exhorted the Muslim women to come out of their homes and vote without fear. He appealed them to vote according to their conscience.
Indresh Kumar further held first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru responsible for partition of the country. He said that Congress under Nehru’s leadership had accepted vivisection of the country. Congress did not bring independence instead it divided the country, he alleged.
He said that Nehru signed the partition papers but we were told for the last 70 years the lie that Congress had brought freedom to the country. When the freedom moment was celebrated from the ramparts of the Red Fort not a single member of families of those who had sacrificed for the freedom struggle were invited to that function, he alleged. He further said that that was reason why Mahatma Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Acharya Kriplani and Maulana Hasrat Mohani did not participate in the freedom celebrations.
He said that earlier votes were sought in the name of caste and religion not there is a change in this process. Se want a self-reliant, proud and strong India.
Justice B D Naqvi presided over the function. Introductory remarks were made by Director of Rashtradharma Magazine Sarvesh Kumar. The presence of Swami Murari Das, Bharat Dikshit, Prof Shyam nandan Singh, Chaudhary Lakshman Singh, Adv. Ravi Mishra, Gnesh Yadav and Manish Datt Vajpayee was prominent.
He was addressing press reporters on responsibility of Indians in making India strong. He alleged that the agents of foreign powers were active in Kashmir; they want to live with separate constitution, separate prime minister, separate flag. But now there is a popular voice coming from all corners of the country in favor of one Constitution, One Prime Minister and One Flag and that the Article 370 and 35 A should be abolished at the earliest.
He said that if Kashmiris can come and settle in Jaipur or elsewhere in the country why not the same justice is applied for the people in Jaipur or other Indian states. He said that no compromise with the integrity and unity of the country be done.
Indresh Kumar said that the Muslims this time would vote for BJP to judge them. What the parties for whom the Muslims had been voting all these years have done for the betterment of Muslims? The Muslims continued to vote for them in the hope that their condition would be improved. But they continued live with poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, and injustice to women. He said that this time the Muslims have decided that they will vote to ensure victory of the BJP in this election.
Replying to a question on fielding Sadhvi Pradnya Singh from Bhopal by the BJP he said that the Sadhvi was not accused in any case. On the contrary he raised doubts on the Congress from spreading the falsehood of Hindu Terrorism and torturing the Sadhvi for so many years. He said that the Congress should seek pardon for this.
Indresh Kuamr also took a dig at the clarification given by Shatrughna Sinha on his Jinnah comment. He said that all the opposition parties including Congress have mastered the art of speaking falsehood. He said that freedom was won by the sacrifice of the revolutionaries and the Mahatma wanted ‘Akhand Bharat’. But the Congress leaders including Nehru divided and Jinnah agreed to the British plan of partition and divided the nation, he alleged.
