Vote for providing a strong and stable government: Indresh Kumar

Patna, Apr 26: Addressing a largely attended gathering of Muslims in Patna on Wednesday famous social thinker and Patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) Indresh Kumar urged the Muslims to fulfill their responsibility as an awakened voter by casting their vote to providing a strong and stabke government that would ensure ‘Sab ka Saath- Sab ka Vikas’.

He was addressing a conference of Muslims held at the residence of Bihar’s Mining Minister Vinod Kumar Singh. The theme of the conference organized by Muslim Rashtriya Manch Bihar Unit was “Rashtra Ka Nirmata- Desh ka Matdata” (The Voter is the nation-maker).

MRM National Convener and incharge of Bihar Islam Abbas, MRM Bihar State convener Altmash Bihari, and office-bearers of MRM Bihar unit were prominently present on the occasion.

Indresh Kumar said that in the last 60-plus years the Congress governments did nothing for the development of the Muslim community but for instigating them against the BJP-RSS and reducing them to their vote bank. The Congress swallowed the funds meant for the progress and development of Muslims. The Sachchar Committee had recommended to providing Rs. 25000 crore for the Muslims, but this money never reached them, he alleged.

 

He further said that the Narendra Modi government had started many schemes for the uplift of the Muslims. The schemes like Hunar Yojana, Roshni Yojana, Ustad Yojana, earn and learn yojana, and enhanced the scholarships of pre-matric and post-matric students and also that of the girl students.

Indresh Kumar appealed to the Muslims not to get misled by the false propaganda of the Congress and vote against the BJP. The Muslims are very much part of the Indian society and not minority community and they should come forward and vote fearlessly for the government that cared for them, he added.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had never indulged in politics in the name of religion. His politics and policies are centered on development of all.

The MRM Patron said that our identity is not by our religion or caste but by our country, our motherland. Indresh Kumar urged them to be true and honest Muslims and not to follow the fundamentalist way.

Earlier, addressing a congregation of Madarsas in Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh on April 24, Indresh Kumar said that the madarsas had played a role in the development of the community and that of the nation also.

 

He underlined the need for modernization of the madarsas in order to make the students capable of discharging their responsibility in the development of the nation and fulfilling their commitment to the society.

The program was attended by MRM National Convener and Vice-Chairman of National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) Dr Shahid Akhtar, MRM Madarsa Cell National Convener Mohd Mazahir Khan, MRM Seva Pramukh Dr Rajiv Shrivastava, Regional Convener Thakur Raja Raees, Organising Co-Convener Tushar Kant and others.

Indresh Kumar further said that in the present social and academic environment the madarsas should impart secular education along with religious instructions so that the students can contribute their mite in various sectors of national life. They can even become scientists like former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam he said adding that the humanitarian values like love, compassion, commitment to society and nationalism should also be imbibed in their character.

 

MRM National Convener Dr Shahid Akhtar said that Muslim youth are lacking in education as compared to other communities. The Muslim community should be serious on this issue, he said. He also stressed on modernization of madarsa education and fulfilling the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who wanted the madarsa students to have Quran in one hand and Computer in another.

The conference was largely attended by moulivis, ustads and mangers of madarsas from Azamgarh and Moradabad.
