New Delhi, April 22: Putting an end to the possibility of an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress today declared six candidates for Delhi. All Political parties and activities have gained momentum in Delhi as only two days are left for filing of nominations for seven Lok Sabha seats in the city. Congress releases another list of six candidates for Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Polling will be held in the national capital on the sixth phase on the 12th of next month.
Indian National Congress Party wishes its best to candidates for the better future of the party.
Former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit will contest from North East Delhi, Ajay Maken from New Delhi, Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi, JP Agarwal from Chandni Chowk, Arvinder Singh Lovely from East Delhi and Rajesh Lilothia from North West Delhi.
BJP has, so far, released the name of four candidates. Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will file his nomination from his sitting seat Chandni Chowk, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari from North East Delhi and Pravesh Verma from West Delhi today.
The announcement of candidates came after talks of alliance between the AAP and the Congress failed as the Rahul Gandhi led party wanted a tie-up only in Delhi while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) wanted the alliance to be forged in Haryana as well.
