
Nagpur, Oct 21: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, his wife Amruta and mother exercised their franchise today morning.
After voting Fadnavis tweeted: “Did my duty. Exercised my right. Voted for #NewMaharashtra , with family, in Nagpur.

Fadnavis is contesting from Nagpur South-West. Congress has pitted Ashish Deshmukh against him who defected to tthe party from BJP last year.
Sarsanghchalak Dr Bhagwat cast vote: RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat Monday exercised his franchise in the Assembly election for Maharashtra.
He cast his vote at the Bhauji Daftari Pathshala in Mahal area at around 7 am.
Coming out of the polling booth he said it is the duty of the voters to elect their representative as the system to run the country is made out of this election in democracy.
Bhagwat said that the RSS is insisting on 100 percent voting and appealing voters to vote on issues in the interest of the nation and society. He said that in democracy this is the only process to elect the system that will run the country. So, it is the duty of each voter to cast his vote in the nation's interest.
RSS Sarkaryawah Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi too exercised his franchise at the polling booth at Bhauji Daftari Pathshala, Mahal, Monday morning.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also exercised his right to vote with his wife Kanchan and other family members.He appealed to voters of Maharshtra and Haryana to vote in the elections for better future.
