The top officer assured that after due analysis and study, the Commission will take all possible steps to include good suggestions and ideas in order to fine-tune the existing eco-system of ECI.

On several occasions, Rawat himself refuted the possibility of simultaneous polls.

The Chief Election Commissioner stated that Some political parties have expressed reservations over the use of EVMs and VVPATs. On the other than few parties flagged against the demand of ballot paper regime, citing the activates like booth capturing and other malpractices.
