Follow PV Narasimha Rao's line to resolve Ram Mandir issue : Subramanian Swamy

New Delhi, Dec 25: Senior BJP leader & Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy said that BJP government should follow former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao's line on the long-pending Ram Mandir issue.
Referring to Narasimha Rao's submission on the contentious issue, Swamy took to Twitter and wrote, “ In 1994, Rao's govt in SC summited a statement which states that 'If Mandir remains found then we should move according to Hindu wishes' ”
A staunch follower of PV Narasimha Rao, Swamy asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to study and implement the policy adopted by the veteran Congress leader.
The former Union Minister who was accorded a cabinet rank in Narasimha Rao’s government urged the Central government to confer the highest civilian award ‘Bharat Ratna ’ to PV Narasimha Rao.
