Reach out to deprived sections to end social discrimination: Dr Krishna Gopal

Addressing the Vijaydashami programme the senior RSS leader stated that civilizations like Greece, Iran, Egypt, and Rome have been vanquished but Bharat made its way rising like a phoenix from ashes.

Underlining the importance of Vijaydashami the Sah Sarkaryavah stated that the auspicious day symbolizes the victory of Dharma over evil powers. Recalling the historic connection of Vijaydashami for all Swayamsevaks Dr. Krishna Gopal said that RSS, the brainchild of Dr. Hedgewar, founded on Vijayadashami in 1925 has completed its journey of 92 years.

Taking stock of various social initiatives by RSS Swayamsevaks across the country Krishna Gopal mentioned that over 80000 places 1.7 lakh seva projects are being conducted by the hundreds of swayamsevaks. He also hailed contribution of RSS workers for streamlining the turbulent violence by separatist forces in the North-eastern region.

Expressing concern over the repeated attempts of violence by the anti-national forces, Gopal said that around 400 swayamsevaks have sacrificed their lives in such attacks. Throwing light on the issue of societal conflicts which have ruined the social fabric, the RSS leader has urged swayamsevaks to reach out to all sections of society in order to wipe out the devil of discrimination.

Hailing the contribution of RSS in the process of nation-building, Vinod Kumar Agarwal, a retired bureaucrat who was the Chief Guest of the program, said that the nationalist organization has always been instrumental in bringing decisive and positive changes in the society.

On this occasion, Over 10000 swayamsevaks participated in Sanchalan. The program was held at NTR Stadium grounds which also marked the 70th year of RSS in Bhagyanagar.
