PM Modi flags off Mahamana Express, dedicates multiple development projects

Varanasi, Sept 22: Reiterating the spirit of Sab ka Sath Sab ka Vikas Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that development is the only remedy to transform the lives of common man.

Speaking at the inaugural function of several infrastructure projects including much anticipated Mahamana Express between Vadodara and Varanasi, Prime Minister Modi who represents the Varanasi parliamentary segment noted that all the developmental schemes initiated by central government will serve the purpose of the empowerment for weaker section.

 

Commenting on the present state of textile industry Modi underlined the need for a global and competent platform for showcasing the talent of Indian weavers for better economic prospects. The Prime Minister also hailed the measures taken by UP Government in order to balance the development of the state especially for the region of eastern UP. 

Besides development projects, PM Modi also inaugurated the Deendayal Hastkala Sankul, a trade facilitation center for handicrafts, in Bada Lalpur about 20 km from Varanasi city. He also laid the foundation stone for nearly six projects, including a sewage treatment plant at Ramana.

 

Addressing the mammoth rally Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath thanked PM Modi for clearing long pending projects pertaining to the development of the state whereas Union Minister Smriti Irani hailed the contribution of PM Modi towards the financial inclusion.

On this occasion Uttar Pradesh governor Ram Naik, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union textile and I& B Minister Smriti Irani and other officials were present.
