Chennai, Sept 22: For the first time taking a firm stand on his much-anticipated entry into state politics, veteran actor Kamal Haasan has confirmed that he will float his political party for the welfare of Tamil Nadu.
In an interview with India Today, The ace actor who is known for his candid opinions on social media, announced that he would take the final call after due consultation and dialogue with his fans and supporters. The Superstar also expressed his wish for assuming the office of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Expressing disappointment towards the political establishment, the Tamil superstar underlined that common people are being left behind due to the power play of politics. He further reiterated that men with values would always reach the top.
Earlier in the day, the Superstar invited Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence. Speaking to the media the Delhi Chief Minister stated that, Kamal Haasan should enter politics for chasing the vision of corruption free society.
