Kurnool MP Butta Renuka joins TDP, hails Chandra Babu Naidu

Amaravati, Oct 17: Senior YSR Congress Leader and sitting Kurnool MP Butta Renuka today officially joined hands with ruling Telugu Desam party. Speaking to the media the Kurnool lawmaker hailed Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu for the rapid development in the state of Andhra Pradesh. She also underlined that Chief Minister Naidu has successfully mitigated the problems caused by the bifurcation.

An entrepreneur by profession, 46 years Renuka had successfully contested the Lok Sabha election in May 2014 representing YSR Congress party for Kurnool parliamentary segment. According to media reports, Renuka took the final call after meeting IT Minister Nara Lokesh ahead of the mass reach out drive under the leadership of YSR Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Butta Renuka, who hails from important Rayalseema region was reportedly unhappy over the development during the prestigious Nandyal by-polls which fall under the Kurnool Loksabha segment where TDP had registered the comprehensive victory over the YSR Candidate.

On this occasion, TDP President and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu formally inducted the Kurnool lawmaker into the yellow army along with her supporters at his official residence at the state capital.
